Camp Sabra 

By the week June 18 -August 10| K-Grade 2 | South Hills JCC

9 am -3 pm (includes a kosher-style lunch and afternoon snack)

Camp Sabra activities

    • Learning to swim in our indoor pool with Red Cross Safety Instructors.
    • Outdoor nature hikes in the Scott Conservancy with our nature specialist
    • Planting and cultivating our garden with produce donated to local food banks
    • Enjoying music activities with our music specialist
    • Creating with our arts & crafts specialist
    • Playing and learning a variety of physical activities

Special things we do at JCC South Hills summer day camps:

  • This is where we should have the paragraph about the Middot Program with a link to the box with all the middot values and what each means.
  • Experience Israel and its culture with our 2 Israeli counselors
  • Celebrate the Sabbath each Friday at our Kabbalat Shabbat
  • July 17th-J&R Day Camp.
  • July 26th– Washington Wild Things (Sleepover Optional)

 

Camp-wide activities are connected to weekly themes and may include carnivals, parades, special sporting events and holiday celebrations.

    • Learn about giving to those in need by weekly contributions to our food and money drives benefiting local food banks
    • Learn to help others by earning leaves on our Mitzvah (Good Deed) Tree
